Wells Fargo encourages squirrels to stop burying acorns, start earning interest

CHARLOTTE — Wells Fargo announced Monday that local squirrels can now deposit previously buried acorns into new high-yield savings accounts, part of what the bank calls an effort to bring billions in idle nut assets back into circulation this spring.
